    Sven Goran Eriksson

Just popped in Sky Sports and breaking news regarding Sven that he’s been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has about 12 months. Sad sad times.
I hope the club can get him to a game in the coming months so we can show our appreciation to him before he is too ill or sadly passes.

Horrible news. His time at Notts is one that is well truly forged in the annals of the clubs history.

Very sad. Not sure whether it is a blessing or not to know when your time is likely to be up. A mate of mine said he preferred it that way so he could get round to say his goodbyes and Sven will have a lot of places and people to get around if that is what he chooses to do. Nice (NOT) of the Daily Wail to omit his appointment at Notts. He could have bankrupted us had he not ripped up his contract and it must have been one of the weirdest times of his career so would be great if he felt he wanted to come down.

Wasn't he given some honourary role on leaving?

Very sad news. He really did commit to us whilst he was here, raised the clubs' profile and will be one of the reasons why gates are so healthy today. We did pick up a lot of new fans that season.

He was made an Honary Vice President of the club. I've just checked a recent programme and he's not on the list of Vice Presidents

That's what I thought and I had also checked the website out. I can't find any search reference. He most certainly should be re-instated and that would be a good opportunity for him to be invited. I wonder if there is anyone now at the club who is fully aware of his involvement? Anyone got a good contact there to fill them in?

He was the only Decent thing in the whole Munto farce. It would be nice to see him at the lane one last time but i doubt it would happen!

I guess Paul Mace on the Magpie Circle would be your best bet if anyone.

Can't remember is Tree or Hardy threw a strop but stripped him of the title as he didn't go to games or something like that (why would he?)
