    Poor lad is no longer able to communicate with his family . Wish him well , entertained me over the years.

    Terrible isn’t it, I think this is the illness Robin Williams had before his suicide but I might be wrong

    Very sad indeed. It isn't the same but both are forms of dementia.

    (PS Not having a pop Uttis - just have a lot of experience with this due to family)

    Same here. My poor late step Father had dementia and alzheimer's combined for two year before he passed. To see such a vibrant pensioner being fully compos mentis just fade away like he did was heart breaking. I fully understand what Bruce's family are now dealing with.

    Top man, great actor, very entertaining in his gung ho style.

    Apologies for taking this off track …
    My wife was watching a docu on Michael J Fox last night and he’s had Parkinson,s disease for 33 years and lived and managed through it
    He was a parody of himself but credit to him for keeping going.
    He carried on acting but just took on less work

    I thought he was American but he’s actually a Canadian
