    Put your money on!

Ben Godfrey, manuel benson, Ben Johnson, David brooks, Calvin Ramsey, hashioka…..all at some point on their way to Leeds…..poppycock….my money is on not one single one of them will be in a white shirt by Thursday, then we’ll hear the same old clap trap spouted how “close to signing” “fell through last minute” “not better than what we have”….yawn yawn yawn.

So with 3 days of this transfer window left its a case of 'different transfer window same old sh1t'.

Or should that be 'different owner same old sh1t'

Let players leave and don't bring in any cover it's all very Leeds really

    X2

That is why many clubs identify targets well before the Jan TW starts and usually get them done early Jan.

    As for us.......

It's so frustrating observing us in transfer windows. But from a different perspective maybe Farke wants to get more from the squad we gave. Areas of concern:
Right back; Archie Gray has done very well. Shackleton is back up.
Left Back; Byram very good when fit. Firpo seems to be doing much better. Byram also good for right back.
Centre back; Rodon and Struijk been excellent. Back up from Cooper and Smpadu can play there. Not sure what's going on with young Charlie but he's a Leeds player.
Striker; we've got Piroe and now Bamford in the driving seat. Joseph and maybe Gelhardt if he doesn't leave.
Personally I think we need 1 in. But this is just an alternative possibility as to why we aren't doing business.
Ben Godfrey would be my choice as he can operate centre back and right back. Or Connor Roberts who may fancy it with his Wales colleagues already here.

To be fair, this January has been a trickle of activity compared to last season. The PL clubs worried about FFP and point deductions

Yup and maybe we were waiting to see if we got a fee for any of Roca, Koch, Rasmus or Llorente.

The sooner they start the stadium redevelopment the better too as we don’t have that much hospitality by way of boxes compared to a fair few other clubs - the extra revenue would be helpful for FFP.

I am very happy that we've not lost anyone of significance yet.

agree on the panic buy comment. For some reason KJA comes to mind.

True Spaldy and our starting XI is a match for Leicester and Saints.

Even if we strengthened the squad and bench there is no telling if Farke will actually use anyone properly off the bench before the 85th minute.

I definitely think that is where we are missing a trick or two at the moment with passive use of the bench and lack of rotation.

Seems Hjelde may be going out on loan but most of others look to stay put.

Controversial but if we go up wonder if the owners will stick with Farke or twist
