    Palmer

Reports that Celtic have bid for Palmer. £2.7million apparently.

Would explain his omission in the derby.

Seems we after a winger from Celtic aswell so could be swap deal.

    I hope that doesn’t happen.

I certainly hope it does not happen as don't rate Griffiths as he's a poor second compared to Palmer!

Griffiths will cost us 9 points above Palmer between now and the end of the season, that’s chucking the playoffs in the bin.

Its true that he's a good keeper with a good future BUT he's behind Palmer in his progress and that bothers me, however what bothers me more is players not being paid if we can't afford to run the club until the the club gets sold amid all the faffing about.

Griffiths may improve with more game time and experience but there is a clear gulf in quality between him and Palmer. Can't see Corberan sanctioning him leaving, especially with a play off place still very much on the cards. We lack a natural goal scorer but very much doubt Celtic could provide us with one and retaining a decent GK is surely more important than getting in a winger even for £2.7m

What bothers me more is that we still challenge and don’t sell any more players. Selling players and slipping down the league will result in less supporters going to matches. If the fiasco gets any worse can’t see administration being the worst thing in the world if it gets rid of the owner and clowns in the board room.

We need to get rid of those who are s hite and there’s a lot of them including Townsend, Reach, Pieters, Grant. Wouldn’t mind too if Dike or Phillips go as they are consistently injured. Fellows is just as good as Grady and that lightweight cost 15 million!

This would be a disaster in my opinion. And nonsensical.

We have a better chance of promotion with Palmer than without. The club is worth a lot more in the prem than in the Championship. And if we don't go up, we could sell him in the summer and would then have more time to try and find a more cost effective replacement.

    Ridiculous if we sell him!

Checking rumours via the news now site, I can see reports on us being after Celtic winger Mikey Johnston and also on us waiting to see if young AC Milan attacker Chaka Traore will agree personal terms for a loan deal but nothing about Palmer. Hopefully this remains the case!
