    Wednesday v Birmingham

    Anyone see this tonight?

What a terrible game between two terrible sides. Sadly we're even worse and wouldn't have beaten either team.

The point is, despite us looking even more adrift, there are some really poor teams in this league, as well as some excellent ones. Apparently (and evidently right now) we can't compete in this league but every season there are at least half a dozen awful teams.

If not for some cruel bad luck, poor decisions and a bad manager we might have actually survived this season.

That's what I think anyway. But then again, I've been on the ale since 7pm.

Yes, might have survived but probably still had a lot of defeats along the way. Games with zero entertainment

It's fine. Everything will be fine.

    There's still time yet.

Didn’t bother watching it. Love Island was at a critical stage.

I’ve been trying to stay positive about the rest of the season, but everyone else is picking points up, and I really think it will be difficult to overhaul one team, never mind three. To get to 50 points we need 31 points from 17 games which would need promotion form, and maybe even that might not be enough, so am looking at it one game at a time and taking a few scalps along the way if we can.
Currently even 40 points would require seven more wins, which in itself would be 4 more than we have got in 29 games. So I expect the worst and I’ll not be disappointed.

Saw first half. Hard to believe there's a worst team in the league than those two isn't it?
Say what you like about the Wendy's, but they're beating teams at the bottom, not random mid-table clubs

Yes and last night they had 25 shots

We've managed 20 shots in the last 4 league games added together

Out of the pan & in the fire

Brings to mind The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, his song 'Fire' some words fit the Millers

You know you've really been so Blind,
Nows your time, burn your mind,
You're falling far, too far behind.

Yes two poor teams but as Heliosphan points out, we are worse......probably much worse actually.
What was noticeable was that Wednesday had players who attacked the ball in the box, something we sadly lack.
I can't for a moment imagine that Hugill would have scored either of the two goals that Wednesday managed.
