    2024/25 Fixtures

Released at 9am. Who do we want first game considering we'll probably be at home?

Morecambe would be my choice with them being such a shambles at the moment.

It’s bizarre that four of our home games next season are on the same day as when Forest are also at home, starting with the Fleetwood fixture on August 17 (Forest have a 3pm kickoff that day against Bournemouth). I’m sure TV will solve some of the other problems, but this seems the biggest number of “double bookings” we’ve had.

The fixtures are going to be all over the place due to the sky tv deal. It’ll be a month by month fixture list rather than a full season.

We seemed to have a fair amount of clashes with Fword when we were in the incompetent NL, but the FL have always kept us apart - save for the very odd match. Wasn't expecting to be away on the opening Saturday.

Carlisle away just had to be on a Tuesday night didn't it.

    Edit:
The Easter Holiday programme is very late in the season with a Good Friday game on 18th April, an Easter Monday game 21st April and only two games left to play after that.

    This is from the club…

The EFL have advised us of the following regarding Sky Sports TV selections:

Selections for August and September will follow in the coming days
Selections for October, November and December (up to 11 January) will be made by the last week of July
Selections for the remainder of January and February will be made by 1 November 2024
Selections for the first weekend in March will be made by the first weekend in February and continue on a rolling week-by-week basis

Why? Everybody starts with a clean slate? 2 of those teams could be relegated for all we know. I don't get this judging teams before a ball is kicked. Tranmere could be the dark horses for this season with Nigel Adkins, he turned them over last season, but he could also be a disaster

From my recollection. we're always rubbish away at Tranmere.
