How are Weds to blame for all of this?

How can a club possibly man manage every single person in the crowd inside their stadium/ground?

A particular total idiot decides to start making monkey gestures towards an opposing black player. How does a club stop anyone committing any such on the spot outburst?

Yeah Brin, I agree. I wonder if they can sue him for the costs?

    I thought the same.
It is ridiculous the behaviour of an individual is the fault of the club.

Reading between the lines it appears to be a fine for not having adequate procedures in place for dealing with this type of incident rather than a fine form this one isolated event

So the authorities are saying that swfc didn’t do enough to try and prevent it happening or perhaps deal with it swiftly
Without knowing the detail it’s difficult to comment on what their short comings were

On a much brighter note, fortunately we don’t seem to have any of that nonsense at the nys

Wendies have identified him, got him to court banned him for life from Hillsboro what more can they do.A lot of top Prem sides have been warned about the behaviour of their fans but never seen any fines.I suppose it doesn’t look great on top of the young Sunderland supporters gesture.

That's naive. It wasn't at NYS but last season at Sunderland I heard one of our fans using the n-word.

    No it’s not
In decades of following the millers I’ve never heard anything like that
I’ve actually witnessed many instances of self policing. If some fans are out of order a little bit they are invariably shouted down and that’s for a lot less than the N word
Maybe you’re mixing with the wrong crowd

Amazing what you can hear if you tune your ears to listen for it.

Are you implying it never happened?

I’ve heard racism at NYS although thankfully it has been very rare. Homophobic abuse is pretty common though in my experience.
