    Dummett and Ritchie off

    ...confirmed by the club.

Hendrick, Karius and Kell Watts off too.

Great news, especially regarding Dummett and Ritchie. I don't mean that in a disparaging way-I appreciate what they've given to the club but, on the pitch, they've offered nothing for a while and we need to upgrade.

Hendrick was a disaster of a signing when you consider how much we've paid him in wages over his time here. Very much a sign of where we'd have been heading had the takeover not happened and Bruce stayed, though.

The very thought of it makes me shudder.

Are they being released or are we getting any money for them?

I’d like to see Dummett get regular football somewhere.

Good news both good servants for the club but they have been finished in top flight football for a while now both would do well in the championship.

Good luck to both of them. They've given good service whilst here but we need to up grade to where every squad member is looked upon as good enough for a first team place.

And there the selection problems start, keeping every one happy.

Good servants to the club and I wish them well.

I know that Ritchie has said about wanting to play for Pompey again before he retired, so I could well see him seeing if here was a deal on offer there and I think it would be a great move for both parties, considering they are back in chimpo for first time in a while.

Dummett - I'd be suprised to see him go far from Newcastle, unless he decides to do a Taylor and try football in another country.

Losing these two and Hendrick and Karius will save us a fortune in wages already, which is a good start.

Dummet snd Ritchie have been great servants to the club and both were good players on their day. Cheers lads and good luck.
Kel Watts has been with us since he was 8 and hasn’t made the grade. Again good luck and I hope he finds a good club.

    Karius and Hendrick …… meh

Best wishes from me for Dummett and Ritchie who can still offer something to the championship to some degree.
All the releases are needed plus a good few more to release over the next few weeks I'd say.

Watts will go to a Chimpo or League 1 club and be fine I reckon. Maybe back to Plymouth where he had a great spell.
