I like Mbuemo as well. Didn’t watch much of him this season but was impressed last season.
We are linked with him.. now I may get stick for this but I would rather take him that Olise..
Don't get me wrong I would love Olise but I feel Mbeumo is just that bit better.. I know Olise has scored more the season just gone but if I was given the choice out of the 2 i would take Mbeumo

Think he'd be great as a Wilson replacement.
I'd be very happy with him as well.
I think we'd like Olise but without European football and others with it sniffing around him, not sure he'd come here anyway.
I'm not mad at the idea. He's a really good player. Tickets all the boxes of an Eddie Howe player. Good numbers going both ways.
However, I've seen a few reports saying he's gonna be around £65-70m. That is about £30m too much in my opinion.
£35-40m is about right. He's not £25-30m better than Gordon IMO.
However, if I'm sure the club know what they are doing and what they are prepared to go to figure wise should be look to bring him in.
I'd be very happy with the signing should we get him,
I’d take Toney, for the supposed 40m… and he’s established so I’d not be thinking we need to keep Wilson to take the pressure off him… so offset that price by around 20m and it’d be a no brainer for me.
He’s a bit more different that Isak, more direct and physical and would be a good target man in the box if we discovered how to take corners properly again.
Not for me. Has never been prolific and with Toney not available he had a good shot to impress. He goes missing for games at a time. Is this really the store we should be shopping in? At the right price maybe.
2 things fro me about Toney.
1 - attitude. He's not a very nice person. Gets goals, no doubt, would 100% expect to start as first choice though.
2 - Big pay Cheque. He's in that place where he will be looking for the biggest pay day of his career. A Chelsea or desperate Spur would offer him the money he is looking for. Arsenal would make the most sense if they don't get Sesko as he'd give them the goals they need to really increase the pressure on City for the title next season.
On Wilson going the other way:
1 - Would Frank & Brentford see him as an adequate replacement? Goals wise possible injury wise absolutely not. Frank is a tool and wouldn't accept a player who only sees 50% of matches as season, they suffered with Toney being suspended so next season he'll expect a striker to be ever present and bang in form. A 32/33 yr old Callum sadly isn't that man. Or we'd not be discussing swapping or selling the fella.
2 - Say they do go for it, are Brentford genuinely gonna value a 32/33 yr old striker with 1 yr left on his contract that spends 50% of his season in the treatment room at 1/2 the value of their 15-20+ goal a season goal scorer? Granted he's out of contract end of 24/25 season too but the man has legs and only 28.
I'm not too sure.
Again I'd look to go for an emerging talent rather than an established on. We have our first choice, world class 20+ goal a season striker. We need a developing talent who is gonna give us the 10-12 goals Wilson offers for the injury room table.
