Douglas Dickie has resigned from the Society board (and the club board too? Statement not clear.

“Following the statement released today from the majority of the Well Society Board, I unfortunately cannot align myself to much of the content. Accordingly, I find my position of Co-Chair of the Well Society untenable, and I announce my resignation from that position with immediate effect. I also intimate my resignation from the Well Society Board at the same time.”

Not surprised here. No thanks, but then again even at a hugely larger offer without the requirement to forgive debt I would be against this. Sadly didn’t expect anything better from this, too many obvious reasons not to trust this offer.
It’s not in Motherwell’s best interests.

The Society board has the power to co-opt three further members. Maybe time to take some onboard to share the load.
