Good players but not used in the best system to make the most of their abilities.
You do not play PL football or top level Championship without being able to play the game. VK recognised this and bought potential, however, he just didn't seem to get the correct formation to get the best out of them.
You said before the season started that we needed a good centre back, a creative midfielder and a goalscorer ---sadly we did not manage to get any of these or, at least, if there is one, we never saw it in the teams VK picked.

Plus you have multiple players who can play in some positions. It's a big squad and a lot of them didn't get the game time they needed.

Frustrating sometimes Sub when I hear comments like not one of them is worth anything and now there seems to me to be a lot of clubs wanting our younger players - also like you say on here many said Kompany was rubbish, but I say as before he had an eye for young talent and this season if we keep them or the majority we could reap the rewards.

I’ve said many times you don’t play premiership football unless your a talented player end off , similar odds to winning the lottery I’d think making it to the top league.

If we sell Odebert now it will be the worst mistake we’ve made in some time even if we make 100% margin on cost - we are losing the plot if he goes for as hinted at 20 million.

We’re giving away millions to the next club - off load some players who haven’t featured or don’t suit our style but hold onto the core or we’ll have a very mediocre season I’m afraid.

The sad thing is with Der Kaiser's unexpected departure Cardy Parker is left with an awful lot of sifting to do.

Always bear in mind Pace's clearly stated objective is to buy right and sell high. £25-30 million will see Odobert loaded into a Terrier Taxi.

I tend to agree with you BT.Pace will do the decent thing and make a mint on Odabert,Weghorst, Berge and Esteve.The rest will have to try and make a go of it but on that front I agree with Army in that it will be a mediocre season without them.Top six if we are lucky.
