Sorry, I feel Southgate will take on board and change things drastically, or am I thinking how I would change it.

Lose Saka, Kane, yes Kane. Start with Gordon, Palmer, get Trippier over to right back ffs. Don't know how he sorts the left slot out but get the balance sorted on the right hand side for the next game pronto! We will profit more if that happens.

Young blood is needed or suffer another non progressive adventure under some more boring football. I only wish Grealish would have made the cut but he had the sense to say screw it I ain't going to another tournament where I could have made a difference only to be a bench warmer once again, good on him.

If you look at Slovakia's progress in the Group stage, they beat Belgium who play a similar turgid style to England, but had less joy against the more energetic and flair sides - Romania and Ukraine. This must tell Southgate that he needs pace and creativity in both the players he picks and the style he plays.

So Gordon on the left, Palmer on the right, Foden playing off Kane. Move the ball quickly, either through midfield or out wide, don't allow Slovakia time to form an 8 man defensive wall, push forward with confidence knowing that our back 4 are capable of dealing with any breaks.

If we score early, maintain the same style and go for the jugular.

Under no circumstances allow our back four to monopolise possession and reduce the game to the pace and excitement of a funeral procession.

There you go - sorted. Now, who do we play in the last 8?!

There will be minimal changes unless there is any injuries. The reason i say that, is
    1. How doesn't know what he is doing
    2. He is scared of changing it and losing
    3. He is hoping that it will all come good

To say this side of the draw is supposedly the easiest, there's still Italy and Holland, two teams we never beat in knockout games.
