    Rumour has it

We’re close to signing Heggem and Windass according to the ‘in the knows’

Rumour has it Josh Windass's old man likes a pint (or several) and a chicken tikka (or two or three by the looks of him these days) on a match day. If we sign 30 year old Windass the Younger I best start getting in the Sportsman earlier just in case they run out of either. Bugger.

Not a bad free transfer though Al. No cost up front but no resale.

He’s meant to have an engine too so will suit CC’s style.

Watched him a couple of days and was not impressed so hope you’re right Matt. Some of the frees last season ( apart from Mikey ) were crap so don’t want to waste a salary on a horse. Had high hopes for the kid from West Ham but he rarely played. Saramiento was poor compared to Fellows too.

Said this months ago. As our new owner said that was how it is way back after the purchase of the club.

Windlass, yeah I’ll stick my head above the parapet and say yes. Look at super Kev he was no spring chicken. Not that I’m putting Windass at the same level. However we cannot afford to shop at Mason and Fortnum.

The initials of our new striker will be JW until Dike comes back from injury in 2025!

As for Asante he will keep practicing on that farmers barn door in Dudley!
