Thread: £68m in fees

  1. #1

    £68m in fees

Now if I heard that without knowing the players I'd be worried it was a big player for us being sold..

As it stands it's Minteh and Anderson (which I am a little gutted about).. but after the dust has settled today we will be in compliance with PSR and in profit..

The owners need to come up big this window.. I know we are linked with Elanga and for me he is an upgrade on Almiron..

I just wish there was more communication from the club because foe the first time since they took over it has been silence..

So you think they should tell us all including the other clubs that we need to raise £68 million
    What planet are you from

I agree, and I’d expect/hope we’ll hear something from the club after the transfer window closes… but they’ll not be saying how much we need for PSR now because then it’s probably not that hard to work out how much we have available to spend 😉

    On the players going out…

Minteh - unproven and reported attitude concerns

Anderson - honestly a bit gutted, but we also have Miley coming though and if I had to pick between them… it would be Miley for me… so for our profit and at 21 he needs to be playing regular football I can understand it, and think it works for everyone.

Unfortunately it probably means Eddie is keeping Longstaff 🤦*♂️

    Where did I say that?

I'm simply saying Darren Eales and Mandy Stavely have been prominent all the way through the ownership with communicating with fans..

Darren Eales even said we may have to sell big players etc but this was around January..

In no part of my post did I mention a fee of how much we needed to raise and wouldn't expect the club to come out and say that but the media are widely reporting we are over PSR and I do think the club should come out and pour water over it yeah..

From what I thought, my post was quite positive unless I'm missing something that you see different?

Sadly true but saying that as we need to raise funds we wouldnt get much for Longstaff Not many premier league clubs would play him so much like we do.

Minteh’s gone for 33 million and Anderson reported 10-15. Where does the 68 number come from? Does that include an estimate of a Wilson sale?
