    Spain through

Heart break for Georgia, Spain look nailed on to win it if they carry on playing like this. Nico Williams with the 3rd, class goal, brilliant finish. Spain look unstopable playing like this. Germany await then in the next round. Home team advantage, gonna be tasty!

Mamardashvili is absolutely brilliant though, truly world class keeper!

Maybe we will be back in for him?

If we play Spain with the current team..we will be hammered.

The swiss are going to beat us if Southgate doesn't stop this perfect example of insanity.

Now we've got the money sorted out I really do hope with Burnley playing hardball for Trafford and wanting £20-25m the "The Georgian goalkeeper used to cost 30 million euros, but is now worth 35 million, making him Valencia's most expensive player."

35m Euro doesn't seem so bad. However, most of us on here knew he was well worth the money before he'd even kicked a ball in Germany.

Let's hope we'd down the road with that one and we can get it done beating the others to his signature.

Would be class. Don't care if Pope is upset about it, The Georgian is two or three levels about Pope.

If Pope wants to go then we'll need to bring in another, Pope will easily go for £15m

I think the club knew that too...the PSR, FFP rules have already made us sell players we wouldn't want to though.

So it's frustrating...but I understand the club having to prioritize.

things have gotta be done to comply with the current nonsense. Now we are clear of all that nonsense and the new year starts today (1ts of July) we can crack on with the serious business of bringing in serious top quality talent to the first team.

We really don't need any more 'squad' players, the players who played the most minutes last season due to the injuries should not be starting most games next season.

Willock, Longstaff, Miley should be substitutes for the most part of the 24/25 season.
Once Botman is back fit he'll go straight back in.
Pope or a replacement should be on the bench and the club need to bring in The Georgian goalkeeper. The more of seen of him at his age the more I am sure that we absolutely need to sign him.

I want us back in for him. Think he'd be brlliant it would sort out a keep position for years to come.

It's that long term investment in a position that every top top club has a world class player.

Ika Casillas, Oliver Kahn, Manuel Neuer, Gianluigi Buffon, Petr Čech, Peter Schmeichel.

All these guys played for the teams that dominated domestic and European competitions for close to a decade a piece.

Mamardashvili is that level, getting him would absolutely make a the exact statement that on top of Bruno, Isak, Botman, the emergence of Gordon.

A top class young 2nd striker, the long term replacement for Schar to partner Botman for the next 4-6 yrs and an excellent right winger to match Gordons output would put us up there in the conversation for the top 4 without doubt.

With solid fitness across the squad throughout the season with those key positions filled we could well be in with a shout of a title tilt!

    Howay the Board!
