Thread: Gareth The Boring One.

    Gareth The Boring One.

Yet another 45 minute borefest from Gareth.I may be a dinosaur but I always thought football was supposed to be entertaining. Not one shot on target yet again.Totally bereft of ideas-telegraphed passes, little movement and slow build up play.
It really is feckin painful to watch these so-called superstars playing like they have never played together before. Will somebody please put Gareth and the country out of their misery FFS.
Both teams playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

I just watched England take a short corner on the right which was then passed all the way back to Pickford. Absolutely unbelievable.

Both teams are seemingly apparent on going for a penalty shoot-out.

I think we've shifted out of first gear, luckily Suisse are in second too so all square. It needs another moment of individual brilliance because as a team we aren't creating anything. Kane is defending well again, he should consider a new career.

Kane looks past it, keeps going deep. Harry had a great chance 1st half, but he hasn't the pace to keep up with play

Time for a change and I would pull him for extra time

When Amdouni scored his pen I thought that was it but no, we continue to play crap and progress, the footballing gods are on gareth's side.

Are there stats on the crappest team to ever win a major competition?

Gareth is boring his opponents into submission, even if it takes extra time.
We are on target to win the trophy as the most boring team to ever win an International Competition.
It's a results game folks, remember that. Shoulf we win the trophy this will have a big effect on British football and teams will revert to the Butch Wilkins era when the square pass was seen as a masterstroke.
