No wonder he looked so p I s s e d off at his press conference today.
The decision to retire him, even at almost 42 is ridiculous.
The bloke is bowling as well as ever, I think he took 6 or 7 for around 12 last week, he’s fitter than most of our other bowlers.
A disgusting decision by McCullum and Stokes to forcibly retire our greatest ever bowler, he should’ve been able to announce his own retirement like all of the other great players.
This coming winter when the Aussies are caning his replacement it’ll be too late, I think he deserved at least one more crack at the Aussies before announcing his plans.
I hope they tell Stokes to f u c k off and do one before he’s ready to go.
