    England v Netherlands (Dortmund)

Well after topping our group with just two goals and one win we have progressed by beating Slovakia after extra-time and Switzerland on penalties. So now we have Holland. Do I not like Orange. Remember 1993 Ronald Koeman. Umm. Holes in dykes and jumpers for goalposts then home for hot bovril and marmite sandwiches. Time to send them back to Amsterdam to look after their tulips. We can do it.

England slight favourites with the bookies, but they won't be weighed down with any of my money. Wout at 9/1 to be first goalscorer is interesting, I can see him coming on at 0-0 with 20 minutes to go. He wouldn't be 9/1 then.

When he comes on as sub he never stops running. It would be interesting to see him in a full game.

One of my nearest neighbours is a ST holder at Old Trafford he said Weggy's work rate was unbelievable and United should have kept him. I thought they would have.

He is a far better player than the majority of Claret's fans gave him credit for. He is also ambitious because he wanted to play for his country at a World Cup and made the necessary loan move to convince his national manager that he wanted to be involved ----again, something which Claret's fans look upon as being a snub to them.
He works very hard and his movement off the ball is constantly good and he made the difference when he came on as sub the other night because Netherlands should have scored from a good headed knock down and then he won the corner from which they scored the equaliser and he also had a touch in the move for the winning goal.

He was regarded as not required in the PL last season, therefore, why should he be interested in playing in the Championship for a club who don't want him?

Phook me! That's one of the worst penalty decisions I've seen.
