    Swift to Middlesbrough.

Looks like they’re willing to pay £3.2m for him.

I’ll be more than happy to take their money, for me he’s too anonymous in too many games for an obviously talented player.

Good money for someone I think we got in a free.

In regards to both him and Yok, for me, this is good business for Albion, two players we brought in on frees who potentially bring us in £8m to £9m.

I’d rather see our youngsters and free transfer talent or lower league players being brought in.

We’ve long gone on about the model whereby we turn players over for a massive profit.

This is exactly what this is.

What about Asante, Grant and Wallace who contribute far less than these two? Surely they should be sold too? Dike too once fit!

Yokuslu and Kipre will be missed, but the rest of them (Palmer and Fellows apart) can go for me, hopefully Furlong and Townsend will be next
Going to be a very interesting Albion side this season

I agree! Don’t understand why Bartley therefore was offered another contract at 33 and very injury prone - jobs for mates!!!

It may deplete squad options but despite some flashes of quality Swift has been generally far too anonymous for us so if we can move him on and put the money to better use then I don't think many will mind too much.

I like him, and I think he's our best attacking central midfielder or #10.

Having said that, I don't mid selling him for the right price, as long as we bought in a good replacement. Whoever we replace him with is the key here.

I think Bartley is our best CB. I was quite happy he signed up for another year

Very sorry to see Swift go, a big loss, methinks.
