Half time and England possibly shading it. Tbh, England better than they have been with Saka and Foden in particular looking as if they're playing with a bit more freedom . Still need to show a bit more urgency but at least beginning to press at last and (shock) even pass forwards!
Bellingham showing flashes of what he is capable of and Mainoo and Konsa justifying their selection though Kane quite anonymous. The Swiss are a decent side though so a long way to go yet.

Well, through on penalties and into the semi-final. If we go on to win this tournament then all the very poor games beforehand and the luck of the draw in us avoiding the likes of Spain, Portugal, Germany and France in the early stages will be forgotten and Southgate will be the hero.
A much better England performance but still a lot more to do and could just as easily have been Switzerland after 120 mins.
