    Expectations for this season.

    Champions?
    Runner up?
    Play-offs?

With the squad as it is personally think we won't be a million miles away.
However , lose Summerville and I think realistically its the play-offs.

Also hoping Farke has learnt from his mistakes from last season.

    Gonna be another rollercoaster folks!

Transfer window not done yet. Tough to call yet. However, like the last three years we are one pure goal scorer from a really good season.

A big if, but if Joseph emerges or we sign someone like smodics we could be an automatic. None of the 3 teams dropping are as strong as last years 3 and we have a solid defense.

A weaker division than last season , can't really see another Ipswich kind of scenario.

Hoping for better Refs cos despite Farke's failings he was spot on with his VAR comments , we would have gone up auto which is a bit of a pisser , well its a lot of a pisser!

Pierre Smirnoff being the only winner.

With hope there is chance & chance is there to be taken - some do & some don't.
Football is no different whatever the knocks !

Firpo can do a decent Summerville role, imo.
It looks as 'tho Farkes gonna go with 3 at the back too - so seat belts on for the ride.

Bamford injury prone and not prolific.
Joseph untried so it's a big gamble relying on him.
A top striker would be key I believe. Then automatic promotion.

Bamford definitely needs to be off the payroll as he was our top earner last year for not a great output in goals.

If we bring in Szmodics then that would be a coup but having more goals from midfield and the rest of the team (we missed Struijk’s presence at set pieces) would be a big step forward.

Not sure about Jebbison and would rather stick with Piroe and Joseph.

Midfield is shaping up to be more progressive than last part of last season.

Top 2 should be the aim and expectation.

To finish above Leeds,if the Clarets can do that we will be promoted because Leeds will be in the top three this season.

With a weaker squad than last season (and no certainty as to whether we keep Summerville, Rutter, Gnonto, James, Struijk or Meslier) it doesn't matter if those ejected from the PL are good, bad, or indifferent, they have parachute payments of 1st season size, and they WILL use them, whereas LUFC???
