Surprising where some songs come from. There was a massive division between Mods and Rockers back in the day. Sadly that was marked by violence. As k-c will testify, we, along with others, were of the more pacifist side of the divide. In my case, a Rocker but at 5’6 and a bit, always concerned about getting the s*it kicked out of me

At school I was a biker rocker and my best 2 mates were lambretta riding mods, all good friends as Swiss says. ps I was 6' and built like a pipe cleaner so I was a bit concerned about getting the sh!t kicked out of me too.
