    I would agree.Tarkowski not far away and Mee slightly lower down the list.Trippier best attacking right back.

    Tough one this because the special generation when Burnley were all dominant would be easy to chose however - football has changed so much speed - athleticism so I’m unsure - I’ll think and re post my answer and why.

    This is players in general not just defenders.

    In a more modern era
    Ben Mee but I liked John Mcgreal who I think made Gary Cahill the player he became - trippier has to
    Have a mention in any category - simply brilliant

    Loved Ian wright when he came - his enthusiasm late in his career was still there and you never lose class and he certainly didn’t.

    Leighton James also deserves a mention Welsh wizard he was for sure

    Billy Hamilton was a favourite of mine a proper forward and roger Eli ( who I’ve been lucky enough to know outside Burnley)
