Do Posties still wear their shorts all year round in your areas? Up my way they have them on all year, tough phookers. 😄
I was hoping that the album Peace will Come that?s only available on the Deacon Blue boxset would be released as a separate stand alone cd but unfortunately it has only issued on vinyl (so far) as part as Record Shop Day releases, have you heard it,great acoustic versions of Deacon Blue classics and live favourites, you can find it on YouTube,Lorraines vocals on Cover from the Sky is superb
Ram it the rest of you tone deaf heathens

I?ve heard rumours that it was only the sight of Petes knobbly knees that kept vicious dogs at bay on his rounds
Will check it out on YouTube.
Lorraine vocals on are you there (with another girl) is one of my favourites, most posties in Carlisle wear shorts all year round but the main reason imo is how uncomfortable long trousers are when the legs get soaking wet.
It?s a lovely album Pete,Are you there (with another girl) is not one of the songs on there but When will you make my telephone Ring is though plus a nice version of Bruce Springs****s Dancing in the Dark
Just had a listen, delivery man Was obviously the stand out track as I imagine Lorraine Was singing about me😁
enjoyed the cover of dancing in the dark and watched the original to see the lovely unknown Courtney Cox in the video, got me thinking what was the last CD I bought and was shocked to discover it was the last broadcast by Doves in 2002.😮
It?s a lovely album Pete which I often listen to in the early hours but I wish that I had a physical copy to complete my collection, there is a video on YouTube of Dancing in the Dark by DB from the Radio 2 Piano Room which I enjoy as well
I still buy cds weekly and if it?s oldies music then there are bargains to be found on places like Music Magpie or EBay if you search as cds are a dying format
Left YouTube on after listening to dancing in the dark and it was followed by other Springs**** tracks, put the radio on to listen to popmaster and the 3 in 10 was Bruce Springs****,some coincidences are scary.
Drivel?
Saxon tickets secured and they are doing Wheels of Steel in its entirety as well as others?
Long live Rock n Roll 👍😎
