See that Connor has moved to Cambridge Utd on loan. Gets him 1st team experience I suppose, but must be a disappointment for him.

Go and look at all the players in the PL and Championship and possibly even L1 and L2...They want seasoned Pro's who can have an effect on the game NOW and look at that player Portsmouth signed from us for 3 years...Hardly played in the 2 years he has been there due to injuries...Its clearly the problem of age....I was a far better player in my twenties than being younger for one clear reason, I was better shape physically and so played better...I was never injured..

Here at Crewe we are acting like it was 15 years ago and times have changed...The Board surely knows this...What good are a dozen 16 year olds that have just signed contracts here? That costs a lot pf money to coach them and possibly only a couple would be capable of Div4 that we are in..
