    Logos on shirts

I like the new kits this season, and want to buy the third kit. However, I've just read an announcement that "Swan Homes" are a platinum member and will feature on this shirt.
I know the club needs every penny it can get, but is there any chance of getting logo free shirts?

Unfortunately I think not. I loved the sponsor-less shirts we had in 2017/18 - so much nicer than anything we've had since.

Sponsoring shirts is a significant expense and as part of our agreement all home shirts could only be sold with our logo on it. I am sure all current shirt sponsors will have a similar agreement.

I wonder how much of a disparity there is between shirt sponsorship deals in L2. Obviously the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool etc. gain a huge advantage on the likes of Bournemouth and Fulham in the PL, but is it worth it in the competitive sense in L2? Could all clubs agree to go sponsor-less, probably sell more shirts as a result and certainly look a lot smarter.

It's not so much the sponsor, but the awful colour of the Logo, especially this seasons shirt

At least the Forward Pest Control logo was a nice shade of green, unlike the John Pye monstrosity.

Apart from personal pride if you have a local business, I’m not convinced about the sponsorship idea anyways.
Yes, I suppose you could argue subliminal advertising, but in real terms, it’s not “selling” any of their product.
I think it’s worth investigating as a club the amount of profit made on sponsorless shirts Vs amount paid by sponsor for front of shirts.

The sponsorship was not the best financial arrangement I ever entered into, it was made with the heart not the head. I would be surprised if any local businesses made back their outlay.

You would need to sell many, many 1000s of shirts to match the money made from sponsors.
