    Sormaz in the YP

"There?s already a lot of groundwork done and we?ve had a lot of GAME MODEL meetings and we?ve had examples coming in from analysis coaches and into recruitment as well. We are trying to be way tighter on that and this year, we really have to nail it.

    I think that?s what?s actually happening.
The last few games has shown signs that the old game model has been tweaked.

There?s a lot of waffle in there. Some good points and some not so good points. Proof will be in the pudding though. If we have a summer window like the January window then Mladen won?t be here this time next year so pressure is on for him.

Yep - good description that - waffle.
Another good word would be muddled.
    It?s far too complicated.
Sormaz is the pivotal point within the club - and I ain?t got much, if any, faith in him.
The proof being that the club has had a significant dip in fortunes since James stepped back and Dan the Man stepped in.

The interviewer on Radio Sheffield does not understand the recent history of Barnsley Football Club.
The key comment in the interview came from the interviewer when he said - the financial position in the league usually reflects the actual position in the league.

This is exactly why Patrick took the club in a different direction.
He knew - and said - that the club will go nowhere if we try to out bid other clubs for players and success - so we have to change direction - which meant:
Analytical approach in recruiting mostly young hungry players that could be developed and sold on.
A playing style that new players and new head coaches would slot straight into.

Personally I hope that strategy hasn?t been abandoned.
But there are clear signs that it has been.

If the so called strategy continues, then we will be relegated to league 2 within the next 2 seasons. Change is what the club requires. It's that simple
