    Sol Bamba

I just saw Sol Bamba passed away yesterday at just 39 years old, diagnosed 4 years ago with non hodgkins lymphoma which apparently he beat but took ill a few weeks ago once again...my brother passed from this horrible disease in 2019 at just 47 years old... beast of a defender and absolutely no age, he posted a tribute to Sven just a few days ago also...poor guy

When Neil Warnock turned Cardiff's fortunes around to extraordinary effect, Sol Bamba was his de facto team leader. Absolutely tragic to think that a guy who was such an imposing physical specimen was destined to pass way so young. RIP.

Really lovely article in The Times today (page 52) - reporter reminiscing about an interview he gave with him about 3.5 years ago.

Everything I read marks him out as a top person
