Was rumours early in the window but the club obviously made CB a priority and I guess with Parish insisting on a sizeable chunk of it up front then it likely tied up everything we could spend.
An improvement on Miggy, but I’d be very careful of not overpaying… Forest will want a premium as it is last day of the window but that would probably end up meaning er pay slightly over the odds but over 5 years.
Ideally we’d make it a Miggy + Cash swap 🤣

I dont think theres much in this...
Decent player I think, only 22 so there is more potential in him than Miggy and Murphy. Not sure hes much better right away though...

According to sky they wanted one of our players to go the other way if it was Almiron we should have agreed straight away but he is one of Eddies favourites so no chance of a deal

Been a lot of speculation about Eddie and if he was the one who demanded ONLY Guehi (as Rafa said was reported by Craig Hope) and around holding onto Miggy… and this Elanga ‘player the other way’ is (as far as I know) just speculation that it is Miggy.

That all said, someone has been making these decisions, and if the season doesn’t end up with some sort of European spot then Ininagine someone’s head will roll.
