    Can Football get anymore crooked.

What the hell has this got to do with football, when have hotels got to do with football.Try selling some of the 42 players they have got.Chelsea have been cleared by the Premier League for the sale of two hotels to a sister company to keep them compliant with profit and sustainability rules (PSR).
The Blues published their accounts in April, revealing the sale of the Millennium and Copthorne hotels next to Stamford Bridge for £76.5m in an effort to help them avoid a potential £166.4m loss, reducing it to an allowable £89.9m for the financial year.

The hotels changed ownership from Chelsea FC Holdings Ltd to BlueCo 22 Properties Ltd, two companies under the control of the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.
The sales have since been ratified by the Premier League under what is termed a 'fair market valuation' under the league's associated-party transaction rules.

Whether the £76.5m value has been changed is unclear but Chelsea have maintained their confidence in adhering to PSR rules that permitted clubs to have a maximum of £105m in losses over a three-year period as certain costs for infrastructure, academy and women's football are allowed to be deducted.
Such transactions are not allowed in Uefa competitions, with Chelsea back in Europe. Man C will get away with it also, football stinks.

Leicester have found a loophole and got away with their alleged misdemeanours.
Manchester City can afford the best lawyers money can buy and will be expecting no more than a slap on the wrist.
As you say football stinks but there are clearly also many problems with the PSR regulations so these nonsenses will keep happening if they don't get sorted out.

It’s becoming very clear that the bigger the brown envelope the more chance you have of getting away with it.😏

Clubs only have themselves to blame. If there was more unity between clubs they could take on the biggest, richest few and vote to simplify rules, close loopholes, and level the playing field... but... they know full well that they can always sh** on the littler guy by accepting that the muddy waters will benefit them one day (Leicester being the latest example).

Trouble is Avon, he keeps his money in his right side trouser pocket, so can't get money out. 😁
