    They eat cats don’t they

I am not exactly sure what is on the menu in Springfield, Ohio but it reminds me of one oft repeated story I heard when I arrived in Manchester in the early 1970’s. In Rusholme (famous for its curry houses) it was said there were very few cats or dogs to be seen about on the streets. It was of course a wind-up. I wonder what Trump and Vance are up to with their assertion about Haitian culinary habits in Springfield but one can surmise it is meant to do more than scare the pants of all the Democrat voting childless cat ladies. It seems ominously bizarre but will probably not dominate the thoughts of many of us (I have relatives who live in New York) who will be remembering the brutal attack on their city on this day.

The Springfield police dept report no instances of cats disappearing though some missing hotdogs have resulted in Chief Wiggum taking sick leave.

There's certainly going to be a Party in the USA soon. Great record from Billy Ray cyrus's daughter 👏
