So the usual morning misery of trying to get tickets for the Chesterfield game.
151 attempts to get through in the phone whilst simultaneously on the internet.
Even more so, I’m looking for 2 disabled tickets and I can’t get through to find out if they’ve even got any of them left.
I know we were only given just under 1000 but all sold out in 2 seconds? Come on.
How will we ever cope if we do go up the leagues if we can’t get the basics right such as having enough home shirts for sale or having a sensible system for selling tickets?
Trying to buy tickets, when the home club only gives us 1000 tickets was always going to be manic, of course it's Notts ticket office fault, people are going to miss out it happens.
Watch it in the Nest with the rest of us
Again…people seem to be missing the ***** point…
Wheelchair users (if the web goes tits up like it does when more than a few go on at the same time) have to ring up the club and get stuck in the normal lines are busy stuff.
I appreciate most away clubs can only accommodate a small number of disabled supporters, but for say, ten people, to get stuck in the dash each time seems like a miss.
Having a separate disabled supporters access line would, in my mind, solve that issue.
Ringing now at 10.48 am and still can’t get into the queue to see if the wheelchair spaces have been sold in the rush or not.
I get the “everyone is pissed odd’ comments but it was more about the wheelchair accessibility tickets and a better way of dealing with them.
Maybe let the home club deal with wheelchair users specifically so that alleviates the issue?
There should definitely be separate lines of communication for people to book wheelchair accessible and ambulant accessible tickets, however small a number there might be. Have had some experience of this so I’m sympathetic.
Arenas and concerts have alternative means to book those tickets. As with everything, football has some catching up to do, Notts hopefully will do if they get some feedback on the problems. The general online site was a much better this morning than it was when I was trying to get Bromley tickets.
Once again fans whinging without understanding or thinking it through. I think the point made of a fair system that guarantees me a ticket is the perfect point. For those disabled people, how many tickets did Chesterfield have for disabled section? How many people do you want on standby answering phones just for disabled tickets? Let's say we have 10 tickets available. Let's say we have 2 people answering calls. Let's say 20 phone up. Not going to work is it? No system is fair. Next seasons points system has issues too. It all comes with success. I failed to get tickets a few times before today. It means really loyal away travellers have the potential to not get enough points for next season to miss out on being first in priority list. No system is perfect, I just get fed up with moaners moaning without thinking it out.
