Charlton lacking a cutting edge and failing to make any chances count suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time to Stevenage.
It started fairly brightly with a changed 3-4-3 formation but Stevenage increasingly dangerous from set pieces, had the better of the second half when Jordan Roberts scored on 67 minutes.
Chuks Anneke came closed for the Add1cks after his introduction but his powerful shot cleared the crossbar. Without a prolific goal scorer in Alfie May this season, the Add1cks will have to find other ways to win these games where they should really be doing better.
