Don't get the 10 game in thing personally.
We're at top 6 team all day long. Yes some of the football has been dire but most of the negatives are from Evans returning and the form last season. It's put doubts in a lot of folks minds...
A lot use the '10 games in' rule to see and express how they think a team are doing.
Just under a quarter of the season almost gone, how do you see it all so far, for the Millers?

I think Brin means, don`t judge anyone BEFORE 10 games at least, which is correct.
To be honest....not overly impressed,2 or 3 of the new players are decent, some are bang average, and 2 or 3 from last season have impressed, but as a team I`m not enjoying it as much as I would have hoped, the last 3 games have bought Evans some more time,we now need to be more consistent, and climb the table whilst entertaining us a bit more.
Average as the table shoes. Average as the tactics show. Average as most of the players show. Average as the manager shows.
I'm not sure you need 10 games to tell if a player's is any good. It was clear the first few games McWilliams and McDonald would be the weak links in this squad plus osong didn't want to be here
Yeah Maybe 10 games to tell what the manager is trying to achieve which is a bit baffling as we all know what Evans wants and some of his decision/formation have been unlike him.
We all know he doesn't like wide players and getting the ball forwards asap is his way bit the players he's put out there are not suited to this way.
Imo this team was clearly capable after watching 3 or 4 games. It's Evans who has been the weak link and hopefully he is getting on top of what he wants and the players are taking it on board.
The last 98 minutes of football have made it look a lot better than it did this time last week. To be fair we are getting amore competitive and i think we look like what the table says after 21% of the season, mid-table team. There is a long way to go, lots more changes in January because Evans has always struggled to manage his squads well and relies on a high turnover. Some decent players there if we can keep them fit, Kelly, James, Rafferty, Powell, McCart and Humphries the rest are mediocre or not given a real chance.
At the moment if we finished 10th then I would take that but you never know. Like the comment above i am not enjoying watching us at the moment.
That's fair enough but what I saw today was a team trying and giving it100 per cent..at the moment that's all we can ask..as for Steve Evans, people need leave off him a bit..he's a football manager, not a miracle worker, I feel he needs full support as at least a token from his last tenure here..see what happens in January if we can get a few in and then make opinions..I'd rather have him in charge than somebody who just folds his arms and says nothing..the guy is a proven winner..just let him get on with his job and be patient
Defense - solid. More than capable at this level to mount a playoff challenge.
Midfield - lacking. We need a playmaker in there. Perhaps that’s Kelly but he needs a deputy at least to control games.
Attack - more capable than shown so far. The midfield isn’t creating enough to let them prosper. Still more than capable at this level.
If we are within touching distance at Christmas then there will be changes made to that midfield department.
