    Dickie resigns

I sense a wee disturbance in the upper reaches of the club with the departure of Douglas Dickie. A sad end to an era but the writing was on the wall after the failed Barmack bid.

That's a mind-boggling statement for him to put out...I can only assume that whoever at the club approved publication decided it was useful to have him make himself look like an absolute idiot.

so besides the nonsense, inside all of that there's "major strategic stadium project"... or is there anything known towards what that might be?
[I don't want retire sometime in the coming years and move back close to Fir Park just to see the club move away!]

Presumably it's the East Stand renovation which went so well. Ahem.

There's no doubt difficult decisions will have to be made over the next few years but paraphrasing Caldwell from the Society night, a new stadium isn't going to happen any time soon. I was convinced for ages it'd come in the 2030s, say, but there's a feeling we've maybe missed the boat financing wise. Which is not to say that was the wrong decision, moving too early would have been fatal, just one of these things that doesn't quite work out.

If I had to bet with no inside knowledge, I would say the hope is Lennon Miller will turn out to be the next Ian St John.
