An early goal will shut them up hopefully !

Reading their forums & match reports there is some criticism that they often start slow in games but a redeeming quality of their French Coach Le Bris is that with the exception of the final 10 minutes against Boro, Sunderland have finished each & every one of their opening league games the best side so far this season.
The bloke is no mug & has a cool quick thinking football brain when under pressure.

We are a team that loves to retain possession & Sunderland love to work off the ball so with tiring legs I doubt they'll be able to match our intensity for a full 90 mins - however i'd expect a slightly more aggressive but similar in nature game plan to that of their Boro game plan a fortnight ago.

They should be confident we have 1, possibly 2 key players out and they are flying at the moment.

Forgot they signed Poveda who has now been ruled out - prompting this comment from a Wearsider fan - "What a terrible signing. Arrives fat, plays 10 minutes then out for 6 weeks. Should have let Wednesday have him. We didn’t need him anyway". 🤣
