    another Gary O'Neil thread

Yet again, after tonight's defeat to Brighton he suggests we were the better team?!! This is repetitive hog wash. Every f@#$ing week he has an excuse for yet another defeat. I think it's one win in fif**** now in the league carrying over from last season. I can't remember the last time we kept a clean sheet, and I think the first two Brighton goals tonight made it 4 goals on the trot scored against us from outside the box. It's nowhere near good enough and my patience is fast running out with O'Neil!

    Totally with you on this.

The honeymoon period is definitely over, we looked absolutely clueless and aimless in the first half. Before anyone talks about reserves, Brighton did exactly the same but their reserves gave us a footballing lesson in every aspect of the game.

Maybe I should dust off one of my old Football Manager games and bin the rose gold tinted glasses.

I really fear for us this season.
It's been a slow painful demise as it always is with clubs that stand still-they get left behind.
Not too long ago we were regularly taking points off the top six and looking down on the likes of Palace, Brentford, Fulham, even Villa.

Now I'm just hoping there are three teams worse than us.

too much emphasis on playing the ball back to the keeper..cannot exert pressure on the opposition
if you are stuck in your own half.
no confidence at all in GON or his system..
    club deffo going backwards..
might win a few more games next season in the champs.

I think the decision to buy Andre, who I think will prove an inspired purchase as a DM, instead of strengthening our defence might cost GON his job. We don't have enough depth and quality at CB, Mosquera who's had an OK start is out injured tomorrow, and RAN and Toti both face late fitness tests. There's been paper talk around us bringing in Joel Matip on a free but we've got all 25 squad places allocated. Sasa and Traore who won't be fit until the New Year are both on the 25 man list, another questionable decision...

Not the best run club in the premier league is it?

Fantastic brand in the far east though.

This summer we sold Kilman, brought in no CB cover and GON thinks a back four with RAN at LB would not leak goals. We are on pace to concede over 100 goals. Two straight league matches in which a team has turned over the game in the last 20 minutes. Which means GON’s in game strategy is failing.

Don’t expect him to last much longer if things don’t improve. I know the fixtures to start the season were not a walk in the park but we should have more than one point in five matches.

Not sure about GON going anywhere.

They gave him a 4 year contract and would be reluctant to sack him and have to pay off the rest of his remaining contract.

Relegation is on the cards, is that one win in 16, the win being against a relegated Luton side last season?

GON is here for a long time I believe.

I don’t believe so. If Wolves are still looking this poor in a few weeks, fan outrage will be deafening.

I don't think Fosun care too much about what fans think or say.

Recent history would back that up.

"If you only pursue trophies or consistent European football, Wolves might not be an ideal choice. If you only love your local team and don't mind their sporting achievements, Wolves may not be one either."

Our wonderful CEO Jeff Shi instilling a mountain of confidence to the fans.

A constant 17th finish season after season with as little spending would suit Fosun just fine.
