Your favourite Albion 11 of the past 35 years?

Not necessarily the best 11 but the 11 you’d have loved to see together on the pitch in their pomp?

    Plus subs.

    Foster

    Reid

    Olsson

    G Mac

    David Burrows

    Gera

    Yacob

    Mulumbu

    Brunt

    Hunt

    Odemwingie

    Subs

    Sneekes

    Koumas

    Perreira

    Dawson

    Scharner

    Kuzchak

Agree mostly but I’d have Paul Robinson in for Burgess and Bob Taylor over Andy Hunt.
Its all subjective, others may consider James Morrison.
As the thread says on the pitch rather than the best players. Saido Berahino was a gifted player but no way should he be in this group.

Bearing in mind you can play any five subs from nine in the Championship this season I would probably go with the following:

    Foster
    Albrechtsen
    GMac
    Evans
    Robinson
    Gera
    Koumas
    Yacob
    Brunt
    Pereira
    Odemwingie

    Subs:
    Hoult
    Reid
    Bennett
    Mulumbu
    Morrison
    Sneekes
    Taylor
    Hunt
    Phillips

David Burrows would have been in ahead of Robinson and Robinson would have been on the bench ahead of Sneekes but he left in 1988 meaning he falls just outside the 35 year remit. Martyn Bennett makes the bench ahead of Jonas Olsson for the same reason, he just sneaks in by a year.

Russel Holt was very close to Foster abilty wise and edged Ben on crosses
