⚽ Match Thread vs. Walsall FC 03.12.24 [EFL L2]

Stuart Maynard makes four changes against Walsall as into the starting XI come McGoldrick, Ness, Madou Cisse, and Austin in place of Gordon, Scott, Platt, and Abbott'. Scott 'Scott Robinson' Robertson returns among the substitutes.

Although Platt has been outstanding this season, having Ness come in for him does not feel like the biggest issue.

I can see Cisse and Tsaroulla starting as wing backs, more than likely inverted, with Austin and Didzy in behind Jatta.

Cisse starting feels like a big call.

Wow we are so threadbare ! Now platt and abbot out, two of our best players. What the hell are we doing to them in training? No Crowley again. He is deffo on the move in January.

Platt and Abbott got injured during the game Saturday, obviously Platt came off and Abbott was struggling to move around the field. That's why it was so stupid that we'd already made all our subs.

How many have we now got out? 8-10 injured? Plus lots of loans . What has happened to Sanderson totally out of favour with Maynard.

Shows how threadbare the squad is in certain positions maybe a blessing I?m at work and couldn?t go to this one wouldn?t be impressed with having to see Hinchy, Austin and Cisse all starting
