Gonna go with a 2-2 draw with Thibaut and Demetriou scoring. Anyone know how many tickets have been sold?
Here we go again! The ongoing saga with Doncaster. Apparently (from what I've heard) lots of Donny fans making revenge-laden disgruntled references to the play-off second leg of last season. Of course, the Alex were at both ends of Donny's run last season, being the team that started and finished it. So Rovers have continued in decent form whilst not repeating last season's charge up the league.
This season they will again face an injury-ravaged Alex although they are also missing including CH on a 6 game ban for violent play followed by a violent reaction as he left the pitch.
Whether anybody will be making a return, at least even to bench, I have no idea - the Alex seem to like to keep this a secret.
Whatever, I imagine Bell will set up cautiously with most players involved being in defence or filling out the midfield.
Don't know what to think but I'll temper my usual pessimism and go for 1-1. Possibly a new goalscorer for this season..Conway maybe?

Not going today but hoping to watch it on the tv. I can see us going behind from an early Doncaster onslaught. Will we be able to get ourselves back in the game? I think we will fall short. I will go for a 3-1 loss.
Who scored?????
So Conway hero and (to some extent) villain in the game.
Just seen Ryan Lowe's summary of the game. All I can say is that he must STILL be very bitter about not getting the Alex manager's job all those years ago!
Link please
It's got a very similar feeling very much like last season to me, only this time it has come much earlier. We are down to the bare bones already, I just hope that we don't cave in the same as the last couple of months of the previous season. It's also no coincidence that virtually all our new permanent signings are out injured, I presume that the only way we are getting them to the club is that they are injury prone. You cannot over emphasise how important it is to have Mickey D on the pitch at the moment!
Is that re: Ryan Lowe? I watched it live on Sky Sports News on Saturday in their post-match roundup.
