Thread: Game time

    Game time

Rothwell was great tonight - when he was getting 5 or 10 minutes here and there couldn’t find his rhythm so shows what giving players proper game time can do

The last two fixtures Probably the best two performances of the season - The first two games where Rothwell and Tanaka have started - they have been a revelation.
Thought the defence - though hardly tested - did a solid job and dealt well with the arial threats that Sheffield provided - they had four players taller than their tall keeper ffs.
The whole team looked solid and more direct than last season.
Weve played 5 of the top seven already and been the better team in each fixture despite getting done by Burnley.

oh, and thought Wilder gave a fair. honest and complimentary interview after the game saying we where by a mile the best team they have played and we where too good for them.

Whats not to like - unless of course youre the resident moaning moron.
First half "We're poor against a poor team, then "we're "lucky" then the odd grudgingly given compliment [Glad a goal from a corner, and Joseph getting one] but overall any positive comment quickly snubbed out and the gloomy clown resumes his miserable negativity'''

And the icing on the cake HIM of all people slagging off our grumpy miserable manager - talk about Irony ffs

    couldn't make it up!

Ok, briefly as I just can't be bothered to direct that heap of sh1te...

We HAVE been lucky against EVERY top flight side for reasons I don't understand. NONE have performed as expected against us.

We were GOOD, but playing against a team that were sub-standard (Wilders comment would confirm).

Pleased to see the link-up between Piroe and Joseph but up to that point the former had done sweet f00k all and the latter needs to be given more game time (and I'm most certainly NOT the only one to think so).

As for Farke being grumpy, did you see him smile, enthuse about any player performance or the end result? No, because for whatever reason he thinks it's ok to be a miserable cnut, bit like you when it comes to responding to anything I post. Pitiful.

And for what it's worth, play the side we played today with the exception of James as starter.

Imagine though if you were a left back, and getting tired after an hour, and then seen James coming on.

It’s really good that we have such competition for PT this season
