MickeyD is expected to be fit. Long is "getting there" (but where is "there"?).
Tranmere are surprisingly low down the table considering they had such a good August. They had 2 successive 3-0 defeats in September and then a few draws. So possibly another tight and, perhaps, underwhelming, experience awaits us on Saturday. I hope with a strong leader at the back we won't be indulging in the 'creating defensive pressure from a promising attacking position' as happened at least a couple of times in the first half against Fleetwood.
In 'normal' life, I'm not the least bit superstitious but I can't help feeling that, being the Alex, it'll be a home struggle against 'lower' opposition much harder than away games at Fleetwood and Doncaster.
However, I do expect us to win and to have a clean sheet. 1-0 (Bogle).
It would be nice to win 5-3 occasionally though, wouldn't it?
