    Motherwell (h)

Just love Tannadice under the lights. A great chance to consolidate our position in 4th.

More injuries than Ninewells but can we find 11 to get the job done?

Tough one tonight and Sunday as can't see us having any of the 4 back, and just like before Hibs/Sheep I'd take 3 pts from the two given our lack of options off bench, more would be great

Motherwell we played ok against in the cup but that was with Doc/Sibbs think Miller could dominate more tonight, Strain not ready to start so Luca won't be out in middle as yet

They have lost two on bounce albeit Celtic was one and will not be wanting to head into the semi final with a third

Would take any kind of result, a win would need massive given the way the table is at the moment and would really take pressure off the next few games

Hoping Dalby is fit, would go with him and Trap just off him, with Middleton and Thomson wide, or VDS/Dalby together from start

    Crowd 7500-8000 region

I’m not his biggest fan but if Dolby isn’t fit i would rather Kai through the middle tonight than VDS (if Moult doesn’t make it). I like Jort, he brings something different with his work rate and hold up play but he’s not gonna get us goals.

I've got mixed feelings on Jort. Part of me agrees with you but part of me says well how many chances has he missed. He set up Trapanovski to score in the Derby and set up Miller T to score a sitter as well. Which he missed. But agree for him to get goals he needs to get into goalscoring positions.

He holds up and links play better than Kai, is stronger in the air and on the deck than Kai so I would say nae chance Kai is starting in the middle instead of Jort or Dalby. I do like Kai and I think he will come good but in a side that plays 2 forwards he's down the pecking order behind Trapanovski and a rejuvenated Middleton. I hope we see more from Kristijan Trapanovski tonight, perfect for him if he's up against O'Donnell. Tire him out then unleash Middleton there 😁

Worth remembering that our goals have come throughout the team, they work to create chances for each other and everyone's happy whoever gets the goals, well maybe except Louis 😃

We badly need Stephenson's energy and aggression into the midfield so it wouldn't surprise me if Strain does start depending on a conversation with Goodwin about it. The alternative is Sevelj Odada and Babunski which imo isn't strong enough to dominate against pretty much any opposition.

Looking forward to seeing his starting lineup.

    C'mon United 🧡

I see they're offering PPV for UK viewers on DUTV for £12.99. Not sure if that's the right commercial decision but hey ho

I think we'd be better with Trapanovski on the bench tonight and bring him on like the Hibs game. See when Meshack was signed I'm sure that the reports said he could play through the middle? A front three of Middleton, Meshack and Thomson just runs the Motherwell defence ragged imo.

Terrible result. There is no doubt injuries are affecting us badly but that Motherwell winner was schoolboy defending. ☹️

Gutted tonight, really needed to win this one imo. At work so not seen the goals but too pissed off to bother I think. Sunday is going to be all the more difficult now. Jim is going to have to shake things up and get more out of his fringe players.

Manny sold the jerseys at a point when we were looking better after the subs, should not have lost the game though, so proper gutting as that wasnt a good Motherwell side, although was clear tonight how much we are missing Doc/Sibbald, and to a lesser extent Graham/Moult
