    Wrexham Post Match Thoughts

Lots of huffing and puffing on the pitch and on the match thread but in the end the same result as the game at NYS with just one moment deciding the outcome of the game. On balance we probably deserved to get a point but just were not able to take one of the multitude of chances/half chances that fell our way. The quality of the game just about reflects the quality of League 1 and should Wrexham get that coveted 3rd successive promotion then the Hollywood boys will need to dig much deeper into their pockets.

    Thoughts?

PS Results today mean we're not "gonna win the league!"

Like you say, we huffed and puffed but no house blown down.

Had at least one chance that Wilks should have scored from. As for Wrexham if thats 4 Million pound of recruitment on display and they go up, they will definitely come back down unless a large chequebook comes out. No sour grapes they won we lost and all because of momentary lapse from Humphries and Odoffin that let Smith in. Other than that we go again.

Just noticed that we only have 3 more games in the remaining 23 days of March and they are all at home. Exeter, Wycombe and Crawley. Will the light schedule and home advantage be enough to get us to the mythical 50pts and perceived safety?

I don't think we huffed and puffed at all, I thought we played very well .. they never got in our half for the 1st 25 minutes, I've seen us twice now against Wrexham. And we have been the best side on both occasions, and lost .. if they do go up , they will be back down straight away , unless they throw millions at it ..

Always going to be a home banker. The lack of goals a surprise though. Roll on the summer.

The problem with a few wins, it gives you enhanced optimism for future games, even if you're playing Hollywood FC and your away form is abysmal. Hence the disappointment.
Sure we played well, we always do against the best. Bracing myself for two mediocre performances against Exeter and Crawley.

Now that could be more of a bet.

Poor game all round. They're a long ball team like us, just a bit better at it.

Our tactics and subs are shocking, and will stay shocking while we employ the fat man and his mate. Why oh why do we persist with JCH, he is poor, and that's being polite. He's obviously SE's love child.....just admit that you've made a poor judgement and see him off.

We constantly play over our midfield players head with the long ball, with it usually coming straight back....then repeat.....

Brace yourself for under 8 defending comment. Not that it will bother either of them come the summer.
