Thread: We need a win.

    We need a win.

Baggies away is never easy but looking at the league table we really could do with three points tonight.

The Blades nicked a late winner at Bristol and Millwall beat Leeds.

    COYC.

We were still crap for 60% of the match but it does put our loss into a bit of perspective. Given that barstewards got tonked too the omens are good,

Rarely get anything at the Hawthorns and this season won't be any different.

Point at most is my prediction

In his press conference Cardy looked decidedly rattled and knows time is running out to get the forward line to work.Despite everything I think he realises it is not working out up front and he is the first to admit it.
For his sake it needs to be remidied quickly otherwise Pace will not wait until things get really toxic at home games.

The Lions got a point up at the Hawthorns so you guys should be able to get the same.

Almost dropped out of the play off positions with other results so we really need this today.

Well we got it but from a Pen. Last 9 games, 5 goals and 2 of those pens. Our XG must be almost negative.

The solution is simple, play Flemming and Hannibal behind Rodriguez and stop giving opposing centre-halves an afternoon off.

Flemming & Hannibal are two strong boys and both of them cause real headaches to defences.

Stop being nice guys and get nasty. Sarmiento and Koleosho get knocked off the ball way too easily for me.

Whilst Koleosho is talented, he would do well to watch how Dwight McNeil played when he broke into the side - using pace to get to the byline and putting in a good cross or working with Charlie Taylor who would overlap to put in a cross. Anthony and Robert’s did that two or three times. If we had had naturals in the area like a Bashley they would have profited from the pullbacks.

Sadly, Robert’s had no one to find when he got to the byline. Easy for Swansea to defend.

We need to turn defenders, balls over the top. Sadly too much of our play is in front of a packed defence.
