The comical thing about watching a game like that with someone who never watches football (Mrs. CA) is when she asks questions like "Why can't they pass to their own players?", "Why are they so slow?" and "Why is their manager so old?". If someone who has probably only seen 2 games in 60 years can see it then the possibility is it's all true.

Barnsley were taller, stronger, faster and more aggressive. They deserved the win. But they knew we only have one tactic ...boot it down the middle and hope for the best. Comedy defending for the second goal. Kelly has shot it I fear. Tiehi was the only player who looked like he could influence the game. The rest were very poor.

I can see your problem, not bad at pressing but not good at doing anything when you regain possession. Midfield lacking.

We are worse than average we are lost all over the pitch. No style of play no drive no pressure just lost.
