The article in the YT is interesting and shares how bad we are at set pieces this season

We don't score many from set pieces and we don't score many from open play, not a good combination!
Need to imput that into the search engine January window free kick corner specialists a requirement.
Interesting that Evans states that balls in not good enough for the big lads to get on the end of.
It is an issue but not the only one. It suggests the main policy at corners is ball in for big lad to head in.
Part of our problem is that is the only policy. Corners are hit and hope rather than any design or routine to them.
We don't seem to have any imagination to do anything different: routines, balls to the edge of the area, dummies for someone else to sweep in, cute blocking off of players, pre-determined runs to create pre-determined space for another, pre-determined, player to move into etc.
Just lump ball, hope big lad heads it in.
Agreed, I still think the big issue at the club from a playing side is poor coaching. A lot of these players have had successful careers or have the talent, if you put good players into a badly coached team you get poor results. Average players in a well coached team tend to get better than average results. The sum is greater than the parts.
Another load of Evans crap.
Keeps saying we are decent at deadballs.
We maybe if he changed his pal Powell and let someone who can clear the first man take them.
Does this bloke think we are idiots.
I wonder if Evans can actually see what happens at dead ball situations because he never ventures out of his dugout unless it's to abuse the officials.
I don't know anyone who thinks Powell should take every set piece because he's not even average at delivering a decent ball. I think even Powell himself might welcome a rest from the responsibility and surely we have other players who could mix it up a bit.
If not, things will never improve particularly as the manager seems to think we're decent at set pieces (maybe that's what Raynor has written on that piece of paper that he never lets go of?).
