Poor weather forecast for the Hibs game on Saturday 23rd November 2024

The weather forecast for the Hibs game this Saturday is for heavy rain and gale force winds. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather...ate=2024-11-23
It is possible that the game might be cancelled as in my opinion it would be a farce playing a football match in these weather conditions.

It'll be the first test of our new pitch but as always look at three different forecasts and get three differing outlooks. In general though it is forecast to be very wet most of Saturday and windy, with a short spell of very windy weather in the middle of the day. If the timings are correct the evening ko could work in our favour. The winds forecast would not get a game postponed unless there was structural damage to the stadium or there was a danger to spectators. If rainfall only starting on Saturday, after a long dry spell, causes pitch problems this early in the season then we would be well and truly f*cked with inevitable fines and bad press to follow. I would expect the pitch to be ok rain wise and the wind to be a nuisance but not likely to affect the playing of the match.

The wind is forecast to die done by the time of the late kick off time ,

If you're asking me - I couldn't care less, I'll be at a Ska gig at Church all day and have zero interest in Dee4Life.

If you're asking Islay I'm going to guess only if he keeps his puss shut.

One thing I'm sure of though, there won't be a smell of burning feet at the meeting.

The Dee4life AGM normally lasts a maximum of two hours.
