    o/t Rachel Reeves

Been caught out at least twice now, lying on her professional positions and experiance.

Just to be clear- CV lies are illegal.

Making changes like inflating your university grades or changing previous job titles may seem small, but they can be classed as ?fraud by false representation?, which carries a maximum 10-year jail sentence.

The Fraud Act 2006 states ?A person is in breach of this section if he dishonestly makes a false representation, and intends, by making the representation to make a gain for himself or another, or to cause loss to another?

In 2022, both she and Starmer said that both Johnson and Sunal were guilty of lying to the British public and have broken the law.
    So, what happens next?

If she's broken the Law, she ought to get whatever the Law demands. The same should go for the outgoing Blue politicians who broke so many Laws, especially during the pandemic. Transgressions which have not yet led to investigation, never mind any charges being brought.

Why is it that so many people can only see things in a very polarised way? Everything is either a 1 or a 10.

I slated the Blues for their transgressions. The Reds appear to be little or no better.

MA, I think the hypocrisy of the woman is more to the point. Her and the leader screaming for liars to be prosecuted, yet here she is lying trying to big herself up, into something she never has been.
I said before the election, that even though the Tories deserved to go, those that were kidding themselves that this lot would be better, were deluding themselves.

I presume you have read at least one of the many posts I've written on her over the past year quoting "Rizla syndrome"?

Well she said she was an economist, when it actual fact she held a 'position' at the bank.

So saying she was an economist wasn't a lie, she's just an economist with the truth instead. I reckon every politician going should have that on their CV.

Personally think we should judge her on her actions in her role. I am not a fan if I'm honest but the right wing media assault on the government is getting boring.

What we need is stability not the chopping and changing of the past few years.

I'm not defending her just because, I didn't vote for them, but I would rather them be allowed to get on with the job rather than defending x.com spread rumours and right wing slurs.

If in a couple of years, or less if it goes really bad, ill join in the condemnation but for now despite some unpopular decisions I've not seen anything to make me think we need changes so soon.

Agreed - give them a chance to get it right or **** it up. Don't waste governmental time dealing with nit picking like this. They will have to make unpopular decisions as the economy needs righting - and they will target their own bete noirs. I might disagree, I might agree, but Labour have earned the right to govern their way. Unless they bring Dianne Abbott back that is.
