    Erm...what's all this?

Raga...you're pretty good at explaining this stuff.

On the face of it, it looks bad for us...?

It'll be nuttin that impacts us now.

They can't roll it back against us.

If they tried it would cause years of legal issues and to be honest i think the destruction of the prem.

It would also potentially cause an international incident, enough the Govt. would clamp down and say they have the right to say who has rights to buy a club.

Even point d) which looks directly targetted at us, they'll be a work around somewhere as the UK govt. this one as much as last, can't afford to piss off Saudia Arabia to that degree.

That would be my take on it - Rag can hopefully spell it out for us.

From what I've read in that exert it would be as Jammy says "this will be brought in to prohibit more clubs being acquired by States/Sovereign Wealth funds."

My take is that the government has not engaged with anything other than removing Abramovich, however, that was Russia who isn't and hasn't ever been an ally. Plus the attacked Ukraine.

Saudi is a long term ally. One of the most financial and strategic allies in the world.

This bill appears to be posturing. If the government get's involved in laws around football with a view to removing the Emiratis and the Saudis, over night the two nations will pull their investments from the UK and move all their wealth under management from London to New York.

This would grenade trading in The City.

The chinless coward Stammer the midget is a Gooner, he recently hosts that Vulture Capitalist scumbag Larry Fink.
Black Rock own Monsanto, my hunch was that it'll have something to do with that coward and lego head Reed's budget decision to tax British Farmers out of their family land.

Funny how Black Rock have signed a contract with The President of Ukraine to rebuild the nation and also buy all the farmland...

If we're now seeing that there are attacks on Non-US owned clubs so that they can completely take over the Premier League and completely destroy football with the US take over of the sport, 4 quarters, interviews with players, blue cases, sin bins and all manner of other stoppages the game will be gone for good.

We as fans need to band together and sue the EPL and also engage with the government to ring fence English football clubs under the National Heritage protections.

So teams can't be moved outside of cities, home games have to be played in home stadiums English football teams have to play in domestic matches in England. Ring fence these rules to stop the Americans ripping the guts out of our identity for money.

Stammer is a coward but he's not so stupid to want to end the relationship with the Saudis or the Emiratis.

My take is that his is just lip service and it won't get traction in the house.

Black Rock also visited Riyadh recently, MBS's team in London will know who's behind this and if this is BlackRock again Saudi will pull their investment if they feel Fink is trying to manipulate them.

This doesn't look like part of a Bill to me.
It looks lilke proposed amendments to a Bill. I'd guess that these are proposed alterations to the Bill, suggested by Bassam and Taylor, that may or may not be incorporated into the final draft. I think.........

Sorry, I should have phrased much better.

But Rag has summed up what I thought to be honest.
